And it's small-batch brands like ours that are leading the way toward a greener and cleaner future.
The skin is a natural barrier. It's designed to protect. But it has its limits, especially when it comes to chemicals. There's significant research showing that certain chemicals in the products we put on our skin can show up later elsewhere in the body. Some of these chemicals may quickly flush through your system. Others may accumulate in the tissues of your body, where they can disrupt hormones.
We saw a need for an alternative to your typical drugstore or grocery aisle shave and grooming products, which are often loaded with chemicals. So we set out to create our own brand of products.
We're a small company, so we naturally make our shave gels, cleansers and balms in small batches. We like it that way, and it suits us. We're able to pay close attention to quality and consistency.
Small-batch production is also well-suited to the types of ingredients we use. We choose natural, simple ingredients over chemicals every time. Instead of using chemical perfumes manufactured in a laboratory, our products are scented with essential oils distilled or cold-pressed from plants.
For our Good Clean Mud hand cleanser, instead of whipping up some synthetic emulsifiers and surfactants, we use just combine Coconut and Olive Oils, Bentonite Clay and a little bit of Citrus Essential Oil. Everything is from the earth.
